Soundgarden's "The Day I Tried To Live" was mine. I played it correctly, straight through for the first time a few minutes ago. What about everyone else?

Hey, everyone has to start somewhere, so don't feel too embarrassed people. I suppose I could have picked an easier song, but I wanted a challenge right away since I am musically inclined and familiar with sheet music.

Mine was the House of the Rising Sun.
Then I was taught how to do with in a Samba style by my teacher. I still dig playing it.

I'm not really a guitarist but i can play a few songs and want to learn more. So my first song that i learned was Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones it's one of the easiest songs ever! lol. i suck!

You know "Stairway to Heaven" is banned in most guitar shops, and in some so is "smoke on the water" haha.

My song was "Brimful of Asha" by the Cornershop, I think. Just three chords... A, E, and D. Of course, I played them in their open positions, whereas you have to use barrés in the song, but oh well, I was a beginner!
