well the song "I am The Walrus" was just something that john wrote to confuse the press and every1 trying 2 firgure out hisa songs.but in glass onion was also a song meant 4 no reason.but some ppl do beleive that it was a sign that Paul was dead.("paul is dead hoax") after his car accident.because the walrus represents death in some culturs.but honesty i think that "paul is dead" hoax was a publis\city stunt by the beatles,or they were toyling w/ our minds...........but isn't that another reason 2 LOVE THE BEATLES!

The line IS "I told you about the walrus and me man/you know we're as close as can be man/well here's another clue for you all/the walrus was Paul." When John Lennon wrote "I Am the Walrus", he did it to confuse people because everyone was trying to figure the songs out and what they were hiding. So, he says here's another clue for you all so they can try to "solve" the so-called "puzzle". It was also tied to the myth of Paul being dead. In "Glass Onion", John mentions many songs. "Strawberry Fields Forever", I Am the Walrus", "Lady Madonna", "The Fool on the Hill", and "Fixing A Hole". He's still trying to confuse you all!!!

The music addresses followers project approximately who the Walrus became. The connection with Strawberry Fields is sensible in case you examine or pay attention to the music. looking interior the direction of the bent backed tulips to be sure how the different a million/2 lives is the two approximately wealthy human beings metaphorically looking by using their gardens to be sure how the undesirable stay, or any opposite direction around. The Glass Onion is existence and all its countless planes and ranges. fixing a hollow interior the sea is something that's impossible to do, i think of this refers to John's consistent anti-Vietnam warfare protest.

It doesn't mean anything. It's a joke. The song is making reference to old Beatles songs in a humorous way and one of the biggest jokes is "who is the walrus?" (you had to be there). Which also circled around the idea that Paul had died.

the line is actually "the walrus was Paul"

it is a reference to the song "I am the Walrus" (no you're not said little Nicola), written and sung by John (see the Magical Mystery Tour EP/album and movie). Check who wears the walrus mask in movie.
