if so, do you try to play them still?

Did you buy them new, or did you find them second hand or get them from others?

Do you have a player around someplace?

Do you know how to fix the splices and pads if you had to?

Do they amuse you?

(I have a small pile of Jazz and some old skool disco 8 track tapes I bought at a junk shop along with a player, and my tapes are in this cool looking fake alligator style case. My player works great, and listening to music this way once in awhile amuses me and my buds.)

I've been meaning to ask people this for ages but could never be ar$ed until now.Do you remember Girls Aloud's debut single, Sound of The Underground? Well, they weren't on about the tube. Did anyone else find it a somewhat ironic title? This 100% manufactured pop quintet, put together by a ''reality" show, launch their career by singing about a movement from which they couldn't be much further removed?!

Or am I alone in my rock snobbery?

(I actually don't mind Girls Aloud - good on 'em. I just thought the title of their debut single was pretty funny under the circumstances.)

Years ago, I bought 'Radio Ga Ga' on vinyl. The 'B' side was an excellent song called 'I Go Crazy'. However, I can't find it on any of the album listings.

Some of the lyrics were 'I don't want to go and see The Rolling Stones, c'mon - c'mon, I don't want to go and see Queen'.

When I was in the 3rd grade we had a talent show. My friend Zelda sang a song I thought was Madonna, but it wasn't on Madonna's CD...maybe it was on a soundtrack? There is a tune I want to play for My new wife at our wedding. It was a cheesey dance tune in the charts in Australia durring our visit to South Australia in March/April 2003. What is a good song to describe a couple that no one thought would make it, but have lasted despite what other people thought? The only example I can think of is "Still the One" by Shania Twain. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
