Absolutely not! Just because an artist decides to sway one way after first being of a different genre doesn't necessarily mean they should call it quites. And who's to say that Bon Jovi shouldn't sing country just because a few of his fans don't like it. And the way I see it is if Kid Rock can sing a country song....there is hope for anyone!

Bon Jovi isn't the first to do it and isn't any longer the purely right. Bret Michaels from Poison did it, Elvis did it, base line even with the reality that's So What? see you later as they're doing what they love to do and their followers can get excitement from it and they could be able to %. up some extra followers alongside the way then it truly isn't any massive deal. besides I somewhat have heard songs from lost highway on both u . s . stations and pa stations and somewhat did not imagine too a lot about it. it truly is somewhat cool to hearken to artists who attempt new issues with out being concerned in the adventure that they promote 100 or a million million information, and are not petrified of branching out and attempting new issues.

They shouldnt call it a day but in my opinion I think they should stay away from country, I cant stand country music, but I can understand why they are doing it, it is good to be able to do any genre of music, and I have to give them props for trying something new.

I don't think so. I think that it is a wonderful opportunity for them to introduce the rest of their music to country fans...sort of widen their fan base.
Have A Nice Day : )

Absolutely not. Look at other artists who have changed music styles to not only fit the times, but also to continue to grow as artists.
I say go for it!!!
Not to mention -- if you hate country music, don't buy it!

I still think they are good. Maybe they just want to try something different and reach some people that haven't heard their music.
