"Rap songs sound all the same to me. All rapping are just the same, except for some" That contradicts.
You are listening to the same kinds of rap. Listen to Nas, Wu Tang and Kanye West. The new Jay Z is good
Very different styles and very good.

You obviously are not a HIP HOP fan. You just listen to rap. There is a big diffrence between rap and hip hop. Pick up both Kanye West CDs. Pick up The Fugees album: The Score, and also pick up any of Tupacs albums, preferably the first one 2pacalypsenow.

Yes It does and that's partly because everyone is doing what they THINK will sell instead of whats true to them . And the other part is that we as fans don't demand substance we just go right along with the current fad! Most rappers don't even put effort into they're rhymes, and it shows/ I guess most of them are using the same rhyming dictionary so their rhymes come out similar. But yes I agree with you 1000000% and if I went as far as quoting some of these ridiculous lines from these so called rap songs.... we would be here all day!

I agree. Hip Hop is dead. At least it is in a coma. The mainstream hip-hop is now the "dirty south" and all they do is growl and shout. New York is fading fast and St Loius is the worst kind. Hip hop with great production and Intelligent lyrics like in the early days of Death Row and Ice Cube are long gone.
The alternative hip-hop has been around for a while, but hasn't really taken off. If you listen to Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def and Dilated Peoples, you would realize there is a whole new side of hip-hop that is not played on the radio

Yeah. if you listen to it too much, you can't tell the difference. But the beat, flow and lyrics can make a difference with a different hook. They are made out of a pattern.
