It was left to me by a world renowned musician and i only recently realised what it does. Its a pyramid shape, made of wood and it has an arm that come out and swings from side to side making a loud ticking sound. The arm has a tiny weight that can slide up and down to adjust how long it takes between clicks.
What is this thing called?!?!

Anyone else noticed that there aren't many female drummers? Most people say its cause were rubbish.. but its not entirely true. I'm mainly self taught and did my grade 6 last year, and my best mate is an awesome drummer, who just got into an up and coming band (look out for sun somer!)..

I think a lot of girls are dubious about picking up the sticks cause its seen as a masculine instrument..?

My boyfriend, who is also a drummer totally digs it :-)

It was out in 2004 I think. Anyway Theres this guy (the singer) and hes on his bike in the middle of the road and he does a few tricks along the way . He delivers some pictures somewhere or something. anyway all I remember from the song is. " Because you walk pretty, Because you talk pretty, Because you make me ???, I'm not leaving till your leaving." He looks a bit like Justin Timberlake and even sounds a bit like him. i listen to a wide variety of music - i love my chemical romance, bon jovi, yung joc, simple plan, sum 41, petey pablo, red jumpsuit apparatus, don omar, kelly clarkson, lifehouse, michelle brance, etc....

as you can see its a wide variety - basically no country though. i am just getting tired of listening to the same thing over and over again. maybe some songs you think i may like or a band or two. thanks!!
