if you understand how practicing works and play any instrument (hopefully string), please help!

I haven't played in about a year... I played for 14 years before college started. I used to be quite good. Any suggestions and tips for exercises to pick it back up and slowly ease back into playing alot and hopefully getting back to my previous skill level? Thanks!

i have been playing violin for 9 years now, so i am somehow into the subject, eventhough i have never compeeted. i would choose a piece, that would not neccesarily have to be extremely difficult, but very good sounding. some latino song or something from a movie. my guess is tico-tico, that is cool and it is a little hard as well. the question if duet or solo depends on the cool song you choose!
