It's a term from the Ill Community, that started from a poster named... Spanish Omarion... He thought that PM's and spamming girls mailboxes was pimpin when he was simpin....
Simpin- fake pimp, you talk to alot of girls and instead of tell her what she wants to hear, you tell her something dumb and you think that you will get some.
This term has since went mainstream as mention in T- Pain 'U and Dat' song.

Yeah, I know I listen to the older stuff, but I wanna know what that song really means. I know that some songs don't have a point, but the lyrics are a little interesting "I strip to all but pride?!" is the song suggesting that he wanders around living with different people or what?
