Nickelback sucks, but at least they're somewhat listenable and their songs are catchy. Rush was the crappiest band to come out of Canada - bar none!

I don't think Rush are crappy. Sure they're a bit cheesy, but that's what the late 70's and early 80's were all about. All the members of Rush are definitely great musicians, there's no disputing that. As for comparing Nickelback to Rush, it's like comparing chalk and cheese. Why are you asking a question like this anyway? If you think they're both crappy, change the radio station. Problem solved.

Rush has talents that kicks Nickleback's *ss. They are one of the most musically talented bands ever! Most music today all sounds the same and sucks...
Neil Peart (the drummer for Rush) is one of the most phenomenal drummers ever and their lyrics were thought-provoking, not the dribble you hear today...

Rush is classic, Nickleback is commercialized crap! (Sorry, but it's true!) Maybe its because I am older than you, but Rush had such a unique sound, 2112 album is good, check it out!

I think Nickelback is by far one of the best bands around today. They are so talented. There has only been one song of their that I haven't liked (photograph). Rush is talented, but never got the following that Nickelback has.
