The 1950s film is seen as out-dated and unprofessional to the modern generation but how will the most recent war of the worlds film (2005) be seen in 50 years. What can we lean about our own culture and sciety from looking at the film.

this is one of the best films i have ever seen and it makes me cry. i love depp in this film but even though i love the film, i always still feel sad at the end because edward is alone again in his dark castle, and still his hands are scissors, on top of that kim never visited him again. i wasn't necessarily unsatisfied but it left me in tears. anyone agree?

The David Lynch version is considered Sacriledge by many fans. Sci Fi Channel did a mini[series that some think was better, but let's face it: It was made on a shoestring budget.
Do you think Berg can do it justice???

There is a scene where a few female vampires are sleeping in a basement and only one is in a coffin the others are in odd places. The one I remember the best is sleeping in a full bathtub and since she is under water her lungs are out of her body and on top of the water. Her lungs also look pretty huge. Then when se wakes up she stuffs them back in. Ewww. What movie is it??

let me apologize for the vague details. I saw this on tv about 6? years ago and I only saw parts, but it has stuck in my head
It starts at a childrens beauty pageant where two girls are with their moms. One of the girls wins and the other's mom is really hard on her.
Ok, so then it flashes forward and the two girls meet up again in college. The girl who lost the contest seems obsessed with the winning girl, maybe stalking her. I remember the losing girl killing her boyfriend with a brick and then stealing the winning girl's boyfriend and having sex with him. The other girl catches them and I don't remember what happens after, except I think she calls the girl a b---- in the middle of class, causing them to get kicked out.
Other facts I remember, the one girl tries to take the other's spot in a band, by distracting her with an interview and then telling the band mates that she chose to blow them off.
Thanks for any help, if I know this movie's name I will die happily.

Didn't I already see that movie a few years ago? Or was it called Alien (as in one alien) vs Predator or Predator vs Alien? It was about a predator put an alien on Earth in order to hunt it for sport...and the people just got in the way for both of them...snacks, so to speak?

Well, i've seen and it is AWESOME!!!! it was so good, probably one of the best movie i've seen in awhile .. i don't know why people say it was stupid or whatever. i liked it.
and another thing that was awesome they got Kane Hodder ,(Jason Voorhees) Robert Englund,(Freddy Krueger)and Tony Todd (The Candyman) all to play in the in the movie. that was cool.

if you haven't seen it .......you should !!

The film was about a kid afraid of whats under his bed and then an older boy i think, maybe a monster type, comes out and takes him under the bed to a whole different world.

Hey I do not know the name of the movie, but all I remember is just a part of the movie. I think it is about a female and a male cop (could be wrong if they are cops). The only scene I remember is the Female and male are going down the escerlater. The female gets stuck and the male try to help and the female said" help me not undress me".
does anyone know the name of the movie?
