It was a good movie - but I have to go with "The Christmas That almost Wasn;t" as my favourite Holiday movie

I like it and always try to catch at least 1-2 showings during the Christmas Eve marathon, but I don't think it's the BEST holiday movie. It is definitely a classic already and will probably be a classic forever.

I finally saw it for the first time a few days ago. It was good, but I don't see why it is seen as the best Christmas movie ever.

I grew back up in those days. It brings back memories of my childhood.
We had a flat tire or two. And no I never said fudge or f*ck, so no soap in the mouth. We also ran into a ditch or two and had to get farmer to pull us out with his tractor. My dad had to drive in Kansas in the winter in the 40s on some gravel roads.
I can remember my first BB gun. "You will shoot your eye out kid". I almost did. I took a shot at a golf ball in the back yard and the BB came back and hit me in the eyebrow just above my eye.
We never had a leg lamp. But the movie brings back so many memories. Like going to school in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The snow got pretty deep and it was really cold.
I am so glad we moved to California.

I think it's one of the best. I also like Christmas Vacation and It's a Wonderful Life. Those are about the only three on the top of my list.

I have pretty much seen it a couple times a year since it first came out. Now that I have neices and nephews, I like them to see it too. Haha, Ralphy, nice bunny suit.
I think it only costed them $1000 to make it. (might be $10,000 but still, that's pretty good.
