Well, nothing is open on Christmas...except maybe the quickie mart.
I am in the frame of mind for Christmas, but I like to celebrate. I also get the strangest surprises on Christmas..Old friends come by who I have not heard from in years, phone calls..etc...It can be a bit confusing, but I have to say I enjoy it. I think this Christmas will be one of my best actually. I guess I have the frame of mind that can enjoy it fully.
I will cheer you on my homemade wassail!

it's a little bit of both, but mostly it's supposed to be a frame of mind. unfortunately, it didn't work out that way and you can thank human nature for part of that and corperate america for the rest.

tough call. different people adore the holiday and make it be the great funky day. others have either had bad memories of the day or have failed to adapt to new holiday perspective that comes with aging.
