Well, i've seen and it is AWESOME!!!! it was so good, probably one of the best movie i've seen in awhile .. i don't know why people say it was stupid or whatever. i liked it.
and another thing that was awesome they got Kane Hodder ,(Jason Voorhees) Robert Englund,(Freddy Krueger)and Tony Todd (The Candyman) all to play in the in the movie. that was cool.

if you haven't seen it .......you should !!

I also really liked how they didn't use any special effects or computer graphics at all in the movie, like they did in the 80's i thought that was really cool. and they did a good job, i don't really like special effects because you can tell that its not real even though i know its not real it can still look like it though.

...having finally seen the film, recently, upon it's release on DVD, I cannot help but expound upon the filmmaker's enthusiasm of this little gem of a horror shocker; indeed, as advertised on the movie poster, it reflects the attitude, and the raw, viceral savvy of the late '70's & early '80's backwoods 'slasher' flicks....yet, at the same time, maintains a firm and balanced tongue-in-cheek humor to the gruesome and horrific proceedings...

...Victor Crawley, as far as I'm concerned, should quickly be destined to iconic cinematic greatness, alongside such icons as Freddy, Jason and Leatherface, and I definitely look forward to the continuation of the "Hatchet" series, which was hinted at, at the horror convention, last May...
