They have been talking about this movie for a while now. Look at Lost. Not one A-lister on the payroll. The film cost $30 million to make and they will have that covered after the first weekend.

I'm guessing that he want it to seem as authentic as possible. The trailer was very compelling. There was a real sense of fear and a need to know what the hell was going on in that scene, especially when the head from the statue of liberty flew onto a NYC street.

Yes that is very true but the trailer looks interesting enough that it may attract alot of people to go and see the film.
