I don't know very much, but I think in the Last Samurai, a guy was beaten senseless while sealed in a punching bag. The martial artists just attacked the bag for training and he toppled out at the end. It wasn't a pretty sigh.

It seems I can't even ask a question on horror films without some weirdo I've never met going on about how "sick" and "depraved" I am for liking them, and how they "should kill all my family" to "see how I like it".

Does anybody else get this?

Because if you're going to think along the lines of liking horror films = sadistic maniac, then surely you could also argue that people who like action films are murderous becuase the protagonist regularly shoots hundreds of innocent people; or you could argue that people who watch romance films are just perverts who enjoy watching people make out and have sex.

Anyway, I'm NOT looking for a fight, (and I'm definitely not calling anybody a sadist or a pervert) but I'm just curious to know what you guys think, and whether you've had the same irritating experiances form people who don't know you?

dig out the old Delorian Doc hid in the mine, siphon a bit of gas out to put in the Delorian with the gas leak (after patching the hole, of course), re-bury the old Delorian (so Marty can still get back from the 50's), and head on back to the 80's? Seems a lot easier than the whole train thing :)

The first movie was really the second book in the series. Does anyone think they should have made a movie of the first book? How about the Lord of the Rings movies? Would anyone have enjoyed seeing a movie made from The Hobbit? Or would that have been too much?

Is there any game you would like to see as a movie? It is always so controversial whether the idea to do this is a good one. Halo is currently being made into a movie, but the project is on hold while the finances are worked out. I think it will be pretty good if it's made.

One movie I would love to see is a Zelda movie. Made right, I think a movie based on the Zelda series (primarily "A Link to the Past" and 'Ocarina of Time") would be great, not to mention a huge success.

Your thoughts?

I don't are what the critics say, it was a good funny summer movie. No need to analyze it or anything, I just sat back and laughed my head off.

I was just reading a description of the movie Hostel on Netflix, and it says:

"Quentin Tarantino presents this grisly tale based in part on actual events, directed by Eli Roth"

What in the world "actual events" was this movie partly based on?

Why does this movie make the list of greatest movies of all time? I mean I've watched alot of older movies and found some that I actually thought were Amazing (I. E. All about Eve, Rebel Without a Caues, Casablanca, etc...) but I didnt really think that this one was so great!

I've been looking for a great entertaining, suspense...like drama with action movie...I know it sounds far fetched, but I've seen types of this nature before like, "the untouchables" or other ones like, "the hills have eyes" etc, "the rundown", and I wanted a movie to watch like these, I've seen I think all the Steaphen Seagul flicks, Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee, and all other recent action movies out today pretty much I think? I just don't know what to look for a name to go by...so any advise please for a good drama, suspense, with action movie...?

It had something to do with this guy, beng in jail towards the end and going after some folks by way of sending his spirit while his body was in the cell all yoga like. I think maybe the cop's family was in some gorgeous secluded house someplace in the desert and the evil guy's spirit either took their bodies over to make them hurt each other or he just did it I can't remember. It has been driving me crazy not being able to remember that dang movie. Thanks!
