I don't know very much, but I think in the Last Samurai, a guy was beaten senseless while sealed in a punching bag. The martial artists just attacked the bag for training and he toppled out at the end. It wasn't a pretty sigh.

There were some good torture scenes at the end of Lethal Weapon. They have Riggs hanging by his hands under a shower and this dude comes and electrocutes the crap out of him. Also, they beat the hell out of Murtaugh and then rub salt in a bullet wound he had. Good stuff.

How about in Hostel, when the main killer takes a blowtorch to that girls face :( That movie wasn't great, but OMG at that part I almost had to look away! And I;m usually not squeamish!

in Imprint, a masters of horror series movie, directed by Takashi Miike, this girl gets her nails peeled back by needles, they stick burning incense in her armpits, stick needles in her gums, and then hang her up by 1 foot tied to 1 hand, sick indeed. Ichi the Killer, a japanese movie by the same director there are several scenes of horrific torture, including stretching a girls nipples out with alligator clips and slicing them off with razors, hanging a guy by hooks in his back and then pouring boiling hot water on his back, and they also stick long skewers in his cheeks and through his eyelids. its a very hardcore movie. if you dont mind reading subtitles, its really the worst ive seen
