There are only a few movies that have had a real impact on me the first A Clockwork Orange and the Second a violent film about the US Army's treatment of native Americans in the 19th century it was called Soldier Blue. I think it was based on a true event but I am not 100% certain.

It came out within a few months of the 1998 movie called Armageddon. I remember there was a lot of people talking about the fact that one movie was a ripoff of the other (to a degree) because they both dealt with similar storylines, about an asteroid/comet that was on its way towards earth, and the release dates for these movies were so close to each other. Can anyone remember what the second movie is called?

So Johnny Depp is going to be in this movie called(I think) Sweeny Todd. I heard it was a musical, which is cool. I wanted to know what it's going to be about, and if Johnny is REALLY going to be singing. And I was wondering what everyone else thinks about how this movie willl be.

I just saw that movie for the first time, and it was probably the most hilarious movie I have ever seen. People who I told this to just rolled their eyes, but did anyone think that the writing and acting was as funny as I did?

How do people go about making bootleg copies of movies? A friend of mine just saw a suprisingly good copy of Spiderman 3 someone sold him on DVD. Although the sound was a little low, it was a very good copy. How is this made possible?

Hi,
I'm trying to find out the name of a movie where at the start it's a scene outside a diner in America. A phone booth rings, and man who has just come out from the diner answers the phone. The caller is a guy who says he's from an army base telling him a nuclear attack is about to happen in the morning. He spents the rest of the night trying to convince people and get himself and girlfriend to safety. Any help would be great!!

It’s a movie about a girl whose mom and dad are divorced .She meets a friend who turns her from a good girl to a bad girl and in the end uses her and throws her away. Her mom tried to stop her dad pays no attention to her what so ever. And she cuts herself as well. That’s about all I remember. I think it has Mary louis park in it but I am not 100% sure lol.

Okey I need to know how much money do you need for a production budget for a big movie. Also I really want to become a director, but althought it migth be impossible to do, I need to see what I'm going for. I already have ideas and I have written books that I want to turn in to movies. I know its difficult, but can someone tell me what I'am going for.

p.s.: how much money do you need to start a big screen movie?

After reading the answer of "Mr. Yesterday" at http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvfdyCRYT5kx0SZ.n8fGCADAFQx.?qid=20070606120758AATFg3V I have decided to share the pictures of suspicious DVD's that I bought at eBay. Please see the pictures at http://www.box.net/shared/mxjaqh5y0z and help identify the real suspicious/illegal DVD's so that I can file complaints against their sellers at eBay and prevent others from becoming the victims of fraud.

(left to right)
First DVD was bought at Zellers and second was bought at Future Shop. I am giving these two pictures for comparison. All other DVD's were bought at eBay. Last two pictures are of same DVD. My suspicions began when I received The Godfather. As I remember from a borrowed copy of this movie, the DVD was supposed to have picture on it. Secondly the cover had only one seal on the top of the cover had rather simplistic writing on it. Thirdly, the cover was very soft and flexible.

I already have Evil Dead 1 and 2, both in the book of the dead versions and I love it I cant complain about it. I love Army of Darkness but I dont know which verson to get, I once had the bootleg directors cut and I was very disapointed. The picture was too grainy and there wasnt any special features worth noting to keep around. Ive heard lot of people say that the boomstick verson is the better one but Ive also heard that it wasnt any better dispite 2 discs. Another thing is I dont even know if they are going to make it into a 3rd book of the dead edition like the other 2 films, if they do that would be the obvious one that I would buy. My questions are which DVD verson is better and does anybody know if they are going to do a book of the dead edition soon? They've got too right if there other two films are in that edition?

I have not read any of the Harry Potter books, but I've seen all of the movies. I'm just wondering why she's stopping with the 7th book. I'm sure Harry Potter fans of all ages would love to read and see the boy wizard grow into an adult. I realize that she must have other books she wants to write and Daniel Radcliffe and the film cast wouldn't go on playing those parts. While I'm at it, what does a graduate of Hogwarts get?
