I saw this movie at the weekend and thought it was amazing. For me, it was one of those movies that makes you realise what is really important in life.
Have you seen it? What did you think of it? What was the message of the film for you?

Please list your Top 10 Favorite Movies. I like action, suspense, comedy and movies that make you think. So if you're going to list Pre-Teen Chick Flicks like Aquamarine, High School Musical, Cinderella Story (with Hilary Duff) and etc, don't bother because I really don't like those.

I like A Clockwork Orange, Crash, Million Dollar Baby, Gothika, Underworld, 40 yo Virgin, The Prestige and Marvel movies.

Thanks a bunch!

I am trying to find the name of a movie i recently watched on Singapore airlines. It was a all chinnese film with english subtitles. Jackie and another were left to look after a baby for a few weeks until their leader got out of jail. The baby was stolen from its parents for money. Those are the main parts i remember.

Talk about any movie sequel. Go ahead. You'll find that, even though it's epic and beautifully done, a large base of people decide that they dislike it.

Pirates of the Caribbean 3
Spiderman 3
Matrix 2 and 3

Those are just a few examples off the top of my head.

Now, why can't people actually enjoy such great movies and stop picking out their flaws?

How often do you go to the movies? If you ever buy movies, do you buy ones that you didn't see in theaters?

Comedy western probably from the 60s. Not too remarkable until the end. Has a mild-mannered, incompetent person and his pretty girlfriend against a bunch of bad guys. The finale has him in the street in a gunfight with about a dozen bad guys. After a lot of ineffectual shooting, one clutches himself and falls off the building. The camera pans to his girlfriend with a Winchester. Next, one is shot - with an arrow. The cameras pans to an Indian that I didn't recognize at first. Another falls and the camera pans to the Lone Ranger (Tonto always goes into town first!). Then a cowboy shoots one. He looks over and it’s - Bob Hope - who says, "This guy needs all the help he can get!". Anyone recognize this film?

Probably from the late 70s to mid 80s, it involves two teenage sisters on the road who latch on to a drifter. When his rig breaks down, he takes on a job at an Army Post telling the interviewer that the girls were his wards (or whatever). All goes well for a while but the older sister envies her younger badly because she is pretty and older sis isn't. However, and NCO shows her that her gift is being athletic - and she readily beats her sister in contests. He also teaches her how to shoot. Younger sister has an affair with the drifter and an enraged older sister shoots him. She gets off but they never see each other again. Not the best movie; seen on TV or cable. Has just been bothering me!

Okay, I just watched Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing and Charm School.. and the actor who plays the young Steven is billed in the credits as Elden Henson, now this character is about 10 years old... also in the movie is a character named Sampson, who is also billed as Elden Henson.. he's late 20's ish.. It's not just short clips that could be home movies. Is this his son?.. nephew maybe? (he looks identical to the elder, and I knew he had to at least be related).. I'm just curious.. and going to sleep soon that is a bad thing.. lol

I rented this yesterday with Titanic [I guess I was in a Leonardo DiCaprio mood]. Is it good? It looks quite interesting. Has anyone here seen it? What did you think of it? Please don't spoil the ending for me, though.

I found the following sentence in the scripts of movie Charade. What does " f.g." stand for and what does it mean?

Then -- a dark, ominous shape intrudes in the f.g. FOCUS CHANGES to bring into sharp relief a revolver -- shining,
black and ugly in the sunlight.
