How often do you go to the movies? If you ever buy movies, do you buy ones that you didn't see in theaters?

I go to the theaters pretty rarely now, mostly because ticket prices are outrageous and almost everything that comes out now is complete crap. On average, I go to the theaters about once every 2 or 3 months.
I buy DVDs pretty frequently, but I never buy anything unless I've seen it first. I'll usually rent it from Netflix to see how I feel about it.

I go to the movies about once a month now and i always see two at a time (or more sometimes). moviehoppers unite! i used to go about 3 times a month but movies aren't as good as they used to be (plus every couple months, the theater raises the price about a quarter. last year, it was 6 bucks; now it's 7.25). Hollywood's running out of ideas. A lot of sequels and movies based on video games and comics and stuff; I'm not into that so much.
I never buy a movie i haven't seen beforehand. i can't recommend more strongly you don't do that.

Hi.I stopped going to the Cinema about 4 years ago because i watch the movies i like with my projector and screen in my home theater which is more comfortable than going to the movies.
Most of the movies i buy are the really good ones made years ago when film making was an art .They are classics that have stood the test of time.Not like to-days synthetic disposable teen orientated money hungry movies. They are nothing more than dressed up B class forgettable movies where story line is almost non existent.

Only if there is a movie I don't want to miss. There are not many of those so I only go about 3 times a year.
The only movies I saw this year were the documentary 'Into Great Silence' & Paris, Je T'aime. I will definitely watch the new Harry Potter movie and after that, who knows?

good one-i dont to the theater often as i would like(small town i live in theater sux)
but when i want to see a movie bad enough i usually just buy it when it comes out on dvd
my latest was pans labyrinth-good flick!!

i go to the movies a lot. once every two/three weeks.
i used to buy dvds all the time but not now. i need the money just to live and pay bills.
no i never buy a dvd for a movie that i havent seen

I see movies in theaters once each batch (meaning once each 2 months) others I rent in Blockbuster.
