I'd really like to see people stop posting stupid Hindi movies for the 'best film' category, it's ridiculous!
I'm not really an 'old is gold' type fan and weigh heavily on genres, so,
of superhero movies - Batman Begins
of recent horror - The Ring (one and two surprisingly)
old flicks - a place in the sun

The ones that stick in my mind are from ages ago.I remember lining up for ages at the ABC to see "Gone with the Wind" and I also vividly remember the first "War of the Worlds", far superior to the modern remake.
