im watching titanic right now on tnt and i thought about how this really happened. but did someone live to tell scientists about rose and jack? i know it sounds dumb... actually now that i ask this question it sounds even dumber. but did this story happen?

Lol you all are tellin me that theyres no rose and jack and i believe it but im balling my eyes out!! lol this movie makes me wanna jump off a bridge but i love it!

The story is fictional but based on the titanic disaster. There was no Rose or Jack. It is a movie. Sorry to be blunt.

The story didn't happen. Well some of it. There was no Rose. It turns out that Jack didn't really die from being cold in the water. He died by getting wasted and fell asleep while the ship was sinking and died. I actually read the book " A Night To Remember " By Walter Lord.

While the tragic sinking of the Titanic was true, the characters Jack and Rose were ficticious. There were a few old survivors of the Titanic whom told the story of their lives, and some of the storyline from the movie was pulled from that.

Rose and Jack was just added onto the movie to make it more appealing to teens. The REAL story behind it is actually in the movie though.

In the movie they portrayed the sinking of the ship very accurately actually, but Rose and Jack never actually existed. Sorry. :-(
