The Shining with Jack Nicholson. Salem's Lot is another one. The first Nightmare on Elm Street. The second one is a good one too. Friday the 13th parts 1 thru 3.

This is actually the 70s but try The Exorcist if you havent already..I have heard it's the scariest movie ever made.
