Love Hitchcock movies, but never seen the tv series. Will I like it? Are the dvds worth a blind buy? And is he the creator/director of each episode?

Some of them are ok, but some are not. I would stick to the movies. You can go to this web address and click tv shows and you can actually watch some of the epidosdes there and see if you like it. www.alluc.org

Hi Alfred Hitchcock Presents is the TV series that Alfred introduced with a short narrative at the beginning of each episode but he did not direct any episodes as far as i can remember,As the title suggests he only presented each episode. And at the end of the episode he would appear and say a few words about what we just saw.
