I saw him in:

"Lost in Translation",
"The Life Aquatic of Steve Zissou",
"Broken Flowers"

He has this understated brilliance in all three. There is something about him...wow!

Ive only heard of 'Hannibal' and then the new one 'Hannibal Rising' were any of these any good? Hannibal Rising looks really good, do i have to see the first one in order to understand the last one?

The boy who is Elizabeth and Will's son and the one who gets hanged at the very beginning look very similar right?

It could just be me but do you reckon they're the same person and it's some plot thing? Like Will saved him or something from being dead maybe?! I don't know!

The movie Blair Witch duplicates a scene from what 70s movie?
The Blair Witch chase through the abandoned dilapidated house in the middle of nowhere ending in the basement duplicates the exact same scene in a movie from the late sixties or early seventies. Saw this movie in reruns on ABC TV afternoon and evening showings but never saw the opening credits. Does anyone remember the movie?
Ginger Snaps was suggested last time but that is from 2000 not the 1970s.

Trying to find a old film, in which there is a Haunted portrait of the actual house on the living room wall
the owners notice a dark figure has appeared in the picture and as the days go by it moves nearer the house..
at the end of the film, the 'figure' in the picture is on the doorstep, and they hear knocking at thier own front door..
ps: its not the 'mezzotint or night gallery' i believe this film was shown on ch4 (uk) in the early 1980's, they can't help, so its down to you lovely people. . cheers!
