My Stepmother Is An Alien
Let me recount what all is bad in the movie by defending two good elements: a young Alison Hannigan is great as the stepdaughter forced to contend with Kim Basinger's alien, and her future "Buffy" castmate, Seth Green, appears briefly as her date to a dance.
Now: wow, is this move awful. It is mind-screamingly awful. It can't even qualify for camp because there's a moment near the end where they go for high camp, and it falls flat. It's like watching The Office, where Michael does all those stupid things that make you cringe, but it's as if Michael from Dunder Miflin wrote, directed, and starred in this movie.
Stupidest element would have to be the planet of Princess Carolines. Jon Lovitz's character has an obsessive thing for Princess Caroline of Monaco, and at the conclusion of the movie, he's whisked off into space by a Robert Palmer video-eque army of Princess Carolines. That's a spoiler, but trust me, I am saving your brain from unecessary injury by watching this movie and waiting for that little scene.

the worst movie i have ever seen, i also own. it is called "Manos: The Hand of Fate" and it really sux. there is a version of MST3K with this movie featured. i wish i had seen that as at least joel and the robots could have made it funny. shot here in el paso. two of the cast members even committed suicide shortly after the release of the film. it's really really really bad. my other baddies include 'torchlight' and 'the lonely lady' walked out of both of these

A.I. Artificial Intelligence - Steven Spielberg doing a Stanley Kubrick film... I was so excited when this flick was coming out but it's the only movie that I've ever walked out of a theatre during. What a piece of crap.

It used to be "Charlie's Angels"...until "Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle" came out. That movie was an insult to my intelligence. Worst piece of trash I've ever seen.

As far as recent movies go, I spent $40 for my wife and I to go see "BUG." It was horrible!!!!! The entire crowd at the theater started screaming "REFUND" when it ended. What a waste of time and cash!!!
