I greatly doubt it. The series ran about three seasons longer than it should have as it is, and people really are not interested anymore. The 1990s are over. People have moved on. I guarantee you that any attempt to recreate what that show was would be a big failure. It was a thing of the past. Best leave it there, rather than let them ruin it.

As for another X-Files movie, it's in the works. As for a startup of the series, you can forget about that.

X files will resume it's orginal series in May 2008 according to the TBS network.

They are talking about a new X Files movie and David Duchovney? is going to be in it.
But if there is a new TV show it will likely be new characters
