If you could have any book/comic/legend/tv series turned into a movie what would it be and what actors/director would you choose? Or would you want an original story of your own made into a movie?

Horror, I remember it as a kid, so if figure it was early 80's.

The scene was of a person sitting in a bottom of a closet, suffering a nervous breakdown, trying to scratch away at a lit lightbulb swinging from overhead.

The 70's films are dated, and the Sam Jackson sequel/remake fell flat...

The Bond franchise showed new blood can revive the franchise with 'Casino Royale'....and that action/sleuth flicks can be intelligent and fun...i.e. the Bourne flicks.

I think Shaft can be a bit more than a 'blaxploitation' character by taking him to different countries (like he did in the 70s novels, even though the novels were lacking)...and making him a character that is smooth, down to earth, and resourceful...

Not too mention, having 'Shaft girls' that are black, white, Asian, and Latina....

I guess it's up to an adventurous producer, writer, and/or director....

Thoughts?

I'm looking forward to part 3, but I can't help thinking how much the franchise has relied on 'racial humor' since part 2.

On the upside, It's cool to see two leads that are Asian and black, with a love interest who is a hot Latina...and the possibility of seeing hot Asian actresses...

Too, these films know that they are just crazy 'fun'....

Nothing but a heart ache hits when you're too late, loving till your heart breaks. I heard it from the movie that was played yesterday on Disney channel. The movie was about a women who got hit by a car and turned into a toothfairy. The song was playing when she went into the Hellevator. Thanks

I understand that this movie is an American classic, and for certain reasons it's unavailable for purchase in the U.S.
Why?
Was there ever an edited, or more PC version available for viewing?

It's from the 80's. Some mental patients escape the mental ward and have a good time around town. It was very funny. Cant remember any of the characters.

I remember watching a movie as a child, but I can't remember the title. All I remember is that the guy had needles on his face and that he wore a long, black jacket (not sure if this is accurate). I can't seem to find the title anywhere, even though I don't have much information. IThanks for trying to help!

OK. spider-man 3 has not yet done better than its two prequels, with only making 247,275,180 in the US, making it the 40th highing grossing movie in the US of all time (for the moment). and both Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 are in the top 10. Im not sure if Spider-Man 3 will go any higher than 30 in the highest grossing US movies ever because of Shrek the Third coming out tomorrow. My question is, do you think Shrek the Third will knock Spider-Man 3's chances of making more money? I sure hope not :-\
