Each culture in the movie is a little different. People throw parties for Che but each one is a little different. the movie is meant to show the differences between each Latin American country. Americas tend to think that all of Latin America is the same, but the movie shows the subtle differences. Notice how at times Che doesn't understand the local language, but all of the people of Latin America have a similar history of oppression from the large U.S. companies. Che realizes that Latin America is similar even in their differences when he sees the mine, and all of the different people who try to find a job there.
