OK. spider-man 3 has not yet done better than its two prequels, with only making 247,275,180 in the US, making it the 40th highing grossing movie in the US of all time (for the moment). and both Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 are in the top 10. Im not sure if Spider-Man 3 will go any higher than 30 in the highest grossing US movies ever because of Shrek the Third coming out tomorrow. My question is, do you think Shrek the Third will knock Spider-Man 3's chances of making more money? I sure hope not :-\

Shrek 3rd may knock back Spidy but thats because everyone who wants to see Spidey has done so already and Shrek 3 and Pirates 3 are new and everyone will see them (Everything new in movies instantly reduces the chances of a movie becoming better than it is, except for Starwars)

as of now, shrek the third only knocked out it's second installment shrek 2 but spider-man 3, no.. spiderman 3 became the highest movie opening beating pirates of the caribbea: dead man's chest... so how can shrek the third beat the spider-man 3???

No SPIDWER MAN IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER THAT ONE SHOULD BE THE NUMBER ONE MOVIE IN AMERICA NO IN THE WORLD BUT shrek sucks for sure but atleast pirates of the carribean will knock out shrek the third out of all of those three spider man 3 IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER.100%.SPIDER IS THE BEST MOVIE it mande more money than shrek the third.

With Shrek III coming out on Friday May 18 and then Pirates of the Carribian the following week, expect Spiderman III to drop off really bad. the the Fantastic Four movie also is coming out and then Harry Potter.

Are You Kidding?!! As lots Of A CashCow those Spider-Mans' movies Are? No way Is It The final One!! Spidey must be recast As Spider-guy(Like interior the James Bond movies) And Toby McQ. ought to stay quicker or later. Then he would be replaced.

i think it will coz everyone likes Shrek 3. What more to say about Pirates of Carribean and Transformers and other movies to show this and next month...
But we will see how much the Fantastic 4 (2) Rise of Silver Surfer earns $$$

it didnt && im glad it didnt qspiderman 3 in my opinion was great.
however shrek was lacks && in myopinion will never compare to spiderman or even come close to beating it.
however i can safely say that Pirates will skkyrocket knocking all previous shrek && spiderman films off the charts!
i get to see it tonight:D
