I'm looking for a movie that I watched a very long time ago. It was a horror film, where a meteor or something fell outside from a large house. The people begin getting sick, and I think they may turn green? Anyways, they end up locking the infected ones up, because they start acting... odd. I know its pretty old, but it was in color.

I know it's long ago in a distant galaxy so there's a VERY small chance that they haven't come up with the concept, but that is doubtful. Those light guns shoot lasers at much slower speeds than actual bullets, or they at least are easier to see, and if a Jedi DID manage to block the metal projectile with a light saber, he would get a face full of white-hot liquid metal.

So the beginning of the movie is a man running around naked at night while it is raining and he is wrapped in a shower curtain. The movie ends up being about a doctor that is doing experiments on the spines of people - but he drugs them so they think they are paralyzed then performs the surgery - then says it is his miracle surgery that is fixing people.
Anyway - i can't remember if it is a cop or dectective or something that ends up getting in a car wreck i think - and he is in dude's hospital and can't move but ends up finding out what is going on.
There is a scene where there is a group of men watching the doctor's miracle work - first a shot of a man unable to walk - then the man is seizing and ends up walking in the next scene.
I want to say that while the cop/detective is at some dude's house that he is in the bathroom and sees the name of the company on the trashcan next to the toilet.

I remember watching this movie when I was 10 years old on TMC (the movie channel). It aired around 1990, and the only scene I remember was when this eerie looking magician (kinda looked like Mr.McFeely the mailman from Mr.Roger's neighborhood) tried to do the magician trick of sawing a person in half...instead he actually cut this person into 2. This movie scared me....anybody know the title or know of any Bmovies with a killer magician?
