For example, the Australian and American versions of Crocodile Dundee are different. I wonder if any movie has different scenes in a foreign version.

almost all movies are edited for each region.americans are prudes and the sex and nudity is downplayed for release here, titles are also changed, for example madonnas movie truth or dare was called in bed with madonna in some markets. the same goes for books or cds, australlian cds are almost always better then american ( i pay high to get imports) for example tina turner is a bare bones package here, the australian version of her cd had an extra disk with a duet of the best wuth jimmy barnes. harry potter and the philosophers stone was changed in america because they didn't think a book with philosopher would sell here. and the dumbing down of america continues! lolol

Yes! Many American-made films are edited for other countries. Of course, dubbing is almost always done for a country with a foreign language...but one example I have of an actual notable edit is in the movie Eurotrip. In the scene where the main character attempts to visit his German pen pal (but discovers she's not home), he sees her younger brother in the background, marching like a Nazi and saluting the air with the 'Heil Hitler' hand gesture. In Germany, this scene was re-arranged and edited to NOT include the Nazi reference. Interesting and good question!!!
