I enjoyed the Mask Some like it hot and Notting Hill.Blade:Trinity was a riot and the comedy WAS intentional. When Hannibal is tied up they play those scenes for laughs.

This is my first time even hearing of the band, let alone the movie Tenacious D Pick of Destiny. I'm wondering how in the world I missed this movie? I never even saw previews. Anyway, I always did wonder if Jack Black was a real musician/singer or if he just liked to play them in his movies. Is Tenacious D his real band? By the way, is the movie any good?

...looking for a film that primarily played in art-house movie theatres, about a year or two ago; it was a foreign (I think) caper film, involving a varied and bumbling group of degenerate criminal types, one of which (the driver) was a sloppy, inept and drunken ex-Mexican wrestler, who repeatedly dwells upon memories of his wrestling glory days, when he heralded and applauded as a masked wrestling demon.

...best description within memory; my reliable resources (imdb, comingsoon.net, etc) have let me down, this time!!

...hope someone can help!!!

Have you ever had a chance to use a line from a movie in a real life situation?

I was selling my car to a buddy of mine. He came over and was checking it out and asking the usual questions. Then he asked, "So what's wrong with it?"
To which I replied, "Nothin', far as I know the muth*r#@cku's tip-top."
Luckily he was familiar with that quote as well, so we had ourselves a little chuckle.
Anybody else have similar instances?

He's too perfect. It's not fair that Superman can stop a train and not get a scratch while Spiderman stops a train and nearly has his arms ripped from the sockets.

Today's zombies (28 Days Later, 2004's Dawn of the Dead) are so muchmore adrenaline pumped than their shuffle and groan predecessors ..

which do you prefer? why?

are you a zombie purist - staying true to the voodoo inspired walkng undead?

or, do you prefer agressive and fast paced, like the modern world we live in ?

I'm looking for the name of an italian comedy movie. I saw it as a child so the movie was made in late seventies or early eighties. I only remember two scenes. One is when we wakes up, he goes to the restroom, there he pees for the longest time that he starts talking to his privates as do he was talking to a real person... trying to hurried it up. The other scene is where he delivers something to a local theater and once there he discovers that there is a singing contest so he gives it a try and wins with a silly song that he wrote for his girlfriend. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. One more thing the song had "BELLA" as one of the lyrics. Thanks

I've got my own list, but I don't have children, so I'm not qualified. What DVDs have you bought, or plan to buy, because your kids need to know what they can teach?
