Hi,

I'm trying to find representations for a bar... but a little bit too big, fantastical... lots of tables, levels... and crowded with lots of strange different types of people and creatures mingling.

It should almost be more like a big party than a small bar. Could be decadent costume parties from the 20s or with interesting baroque qualities. Or maybe a sci-fi film where there are loads of different weird characters.

But I need to find wideshots to capture the essence of the size of it all.

Can anyone suggest any films that fit this vibe in any way? All suggestions welcome. Please ask me to elaborate if this doesn't make sense. That's a lot!

If you've ever just let a VHS tape run past the credits, has anyone noticed the telephone tones faintly dialing some mystery number just before the tape goes snowy? What purpose does that serve? Accepting serious, logical and honest answers only, please.
