I'm looking for a movie that I watched a very long time ago. It was a horror film, where a meteor or something fell outside from a large house. The people begin getting sick, and I think they may turn green? Anyways, they end up locking the infected ones up, because they start acting... odd. I know its pretty old, but it was in color.

I think the movie you are looking for is called "The Tommyknockers" and it is with Tracy Lords as far as i remember. It's that movie where the people in a town start digging up something in the woods and it turns out to be a buried UFO that lets out some sort of green light and it makes everyone go slightly mad. am i correct?

If it's the movie I'm thinking of, when they drink the water the get sick and violent. The movie is from 1987 called "The Curse". I hope this is the one you're thinking of.
