...ah, yes!!! The man behind the dream demon, Freddy Kruger!!!

As an avid horror/sci-fi/fantasy film fan, Robert struck fans well before he took on the Kruger persona, where he has since become as iconic as Boris Karloff, himself.

Before 'Freddy', Robert made his impact in films like director Tobe Hooper's follow-up to his "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", entitled "Eaten Alive" (1977), and the Roger Corman space cheapie, "Galaxy of Terror" (1981); of course, we cannot possibly exclude his performance in the ABC sci-fi mini-series, "V" (1984-85).

Since Freddy, Robert has done many macabre and artful film productions, and has even occasionally dabble in theater; he has also made a quick return to the television circuit, with a moderate and short lived horror series, entitled "Freddy's Nightmares". However, much like Karloff always being identified with the Frankenstein Monster, Robert will be forever immortalized as the man of your (and everyone else's) nightmares, Freddy Kruger.

So, what's Robert up to, of late??? Well, I could babble on, until I turn blue, about the rumored projects in the pipeline ("Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash" from the Evil Dead series...come on people, get real!!!); however, why not get the latest 411 on Robert....from Robert himself. In an article from the Fangoria Magazine website, date last March, he....well, feel free to read on for yourself!!!
