i am trying to get the movie they used all the film clips from to make kung pow enter the fist

... that would be "Tiger and Crane Fist", released in 1977!!!
...speaking of "Kung Pow: Enter the Fist", director/producer Steve Oedekerk is on the fast track, to complete and release "Kung Pow II: Tongue of Fury", around the late Fall or early Winter time period, this year.

More seriously, most of the footage was from "Hu Hao Shuang Xing" directed by Yu Wang. It was made in I think 1977 but not released until about 1980
