Is it a good development that racial stereotypes can be made fun of, or is it dangerous?
In europe each country has its own stereotypes, and these are an endless source of jokes and humour amoung european nations. I don't think that great offence is taken normally, though it does happen sometimes. Is the same happening between black and white in the US, and is this a good thing?

The movie could have been Tombstone or something similar in that time period. The epitaph rhymed and I think explained why the person died. What was the move and what did the tombstone say?

I tend to think Japanese horror movies are better because the atmosphere and situations are just as creepy as the villian/monster. They also do not have to rely on gore as much.
