In the 2nd movie, when Mystique changes into Lady Deathstrike to get into her files, she sees a file on Remy Le Beau. Other than that, I have no idea why they've chosen to ignore one of the X-Men's most charismatic characters. He even has his own Marvel comic! Sheesh.
I hope Mark Wahlberg plays him.

I actually read that Gambit is going to get his OWN full length motion picture. A spin-off sort of movie, similar to what they are doing with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

I wondered, since he was always my favorite charcter, but what role could he play? Can his ability help in a fight or behind the scenes maybe?

i wouldn't worry, after the money the last one made they will make another one, there were a few not getting on screen that needed to!

He was referenced in the second movie(Striker's computer). But, maybe they'll make other X-Men movies that he can ACTUALLY appear in.

they were supposed to have him in the last one but they decided to scrap the idea. they wanted josh holloway to play the part but he turned it down.
