It's in a movie from 1932 called "The Western Code". It was said by a character named Nick Grindell. You can see the proof in my sources. The whole original quote was:
"I'm getting tired of your meddling. This town ain't big enough for the both of us and I'm going to give you 24 hours to get out. If I see you in Carabinas by this time tomorrow, it's you or me!"
Of course after that it was used all over the place...movies like the above commenters "Tall in the Saddle."
