When it comes to scary films, no flick can beat 'zombie' films!!! When I was young, I saw this 'Night Of The Living Dead' and it was the first one to introduce me into the world of zombies! Today, "Dawn Of The Dead" gave me the shout and nightmare (Yes, I did dream of them). I agree to Kya, zombies are the most scariest creature Hollywood ever made. What's more, even though it's a fictional creature, who knows?, maybe they lurk into the dark places of the earth.

80's film called event horizon. ****** up film, I was 13 when i saw it, it had some guy hung from the rafters, cut right down the middle, guts hanging out, and some blonde slitting her wrists in the bath.

alternatively, the remake of house on the haunted hill was good, especially the surgery with sharp pencils!!

Dawn of the Dead
Zombies really freak me out. I watched Wolf Creek recently. Also disturbing but to different degree. That "head on a stick" comment left me lots of terrble things to imagine.

showgirls, defietly. no, i really dont get scared at horror movies anymore, i kinda just laugh at them. the best ones i have seen though are the blair witch story, saw 1 and 2, and probably the exorcisim of emily rose. blair witch is good because it makes you accually think it happend and you almsot do think it really happened. the saw movies arent realy horror movies, but it gets you thinking and its pretty good and gory in some spots (look for the needle scene in the second one). emily rose was pretty good because its loosely based on a true story and the accual exocism itself in the move was pretty cool too

"The Fall of the House of Usher"

My elementary school took us to see this movie when I was in first grade. I can still see that lady's face, and I'm 30 years old! What kind of a school does that to kids?

The Shining. 90% of the fear is in your own mind rather than the gorefests that constitutes the modern horror film.
