I really enjoyed "Lagaan" It was only the second Indian movie I ever saw (the first one I rented because I knew an actor in it. It was a little film called "American Desai"--ever hear of it?) I love that it was based on an actual historical event and I really enjoyed the story and the musical numbers, too.

Yes. I like most of Aamir Khan movies. A R Rahman is one of my favorite music directors. Asha Bhosle, my favorite singer, has sung "Madhuban mein" really well. And Javed Akhtar is really good lyricst.
