Do you think Yahoo Answers should allow us to put smilies in our answers?

Becuase what if you're answering a question, and it was for good intent, but someone thought you ment something different? I mean if you put a smile next to your answer, wouldn't it make all the difference? ^_____^

Anime convention....need excuse to get weekend off....HELP!?

Okay, here's the story: i got to this con every year and this year for some god-awful reason I chose to wait til a month before to ask for the time off. Well, the con is this weekend and both my requests were rejected a month ago by management. I was going to be immature and just "call in sick" this weekend until I discovered it's a blackout weekend( i.e. you call out, you get fired). So I'm trying to come up with a GOOD excuse to get out of work.

Oh and I'm not saying I'm sick or that anyone died....that's just asking for trouble.

An Old Lady, A Genie and Her Cat....?

An old lady sits on her front porch, rocking away the last days of her long life, when all of a sudden, a genie appears and informs her that she will be granted three wishes.

''Well, now,'' says the old lady, ''I guess I would like to be really rich.''

*** POOF *** Her rocking chair turns to solid gold.

''And, gee, I guess I wouldn't mind being a young, beautiful princess.''

Little Johnny's Chemistry teacher wanted to teach his class a lesson about the evils of liquor, so he set up an experiment that involved a glass of water, a glass of whiskey, and two worms.

"Now, class. Observe what happens to the two the worms," said the professor putting the first worm in the glass of water. The worm in the water moved about, twisting and seemingly unharmed.

He then dropped the second work in the whiskey glass. It writhed in pain for a moment, then quickly sank to the bottom and died. "Now kids, what lesson can we derive from this experiment?" he asked.

Little Johnny raised his hand and wisely responded, "Drink whiskey and you won't get worms!"

ok..do you this is a good idea to have a BLACK RIBBON put across PORTER'S DRESSING ROOM DOOR at the opry?
the great MARTY ROBBINS once shared that room with porter and now that they are both singing in HILLBILLY HEAVEN , it should be RETIRE i think. I spoke with a few of my friends and a few ARTIST last night about seeing if we can have this done..what do you think?
