1.) I am 23 years old.
2.) I am causasian (white).
3.) I am female.
4.) Very unlikely, I will carry my garbage with me until I do find a trash can unless what I need to dispose of is definitely biodegradable.
5.) 10. Even though in my area pollution is not that bad, as a whole the Earth is being destroyed by pollution of all kinds.
6.) Yes, absolutely. If I don't, who will?
7.) Yes, if I am able to, I take them to a no-kill shelter so they can be cared for. If I can't do that, I at least leave some food for them.
8.) See above.
9.) Agree. I believe that each and every person should also be responsible for their own garbage. Hiring more people to do the work we should be doing ourselves won't really solve anything, since all the blame for littering and pollution would then be placed on their shoulders and the average joe wouldn't feel any guilt over litterin because he/she would think, "Hey, we pay people to do this, so why should I?".
10.) Strongly agree. I think that if littering fines were as enforced as more serious crimes, people would be more conscientious about cleaning up after themselves properly.
11.) As much as I am able, my area does not have any community recycling programs and the nearest recycling center is about 20 miles away. I compost my kitchen garbage and reuse newspapers and plastic bags for household projects. I also make activities for my children from empty cans and other (cleaned out) food containers.
12.) I believe that many, but not all, people take our environment for granted and assume their there are inifinite supplies of fresh water, clean air, arable land, etc. I also believe that the ecological pressure that humans and domesticated animals are putting on all the world's continents will come to a head within my grandchildren's lifetime. We have the tools and technology available NOW to slow down, if not halt, the destruction we are wreaking on this planet, and that it's only beaurocracy that is keeping those tools and technologies from being used.

1. 64 2. White 3. Female 4. Very unlikely 5. #10 6. Yes if there was one nearby. 7. Definitely, it's sad. 8. Pick it up and call a shelter if the animal would let me. 9. Strongly agree. 10. Strongly agree. 11. Yes, but my city just stopped picking up recycling items. Makes me angry. Rates were raised yet we get less service. 12. It makes me so sad that there is so much construction of new homes and businesses, cutting down any wooded areas that the animals have no place to go to live. Before long lots of animals will no longer exist. There must be a way for us to all live together. Animals deserve a home just as we do. Someone has to protect their rights!!

1. Seventeen
2. HUMAN.
3. Male.
4. Very unlikely.
5. 11.
6. If it doesn't get me all nasty and gross by touching it, I do.
7. Absolutely.
8. If I determine that it is indeed a stray, I call a shelter, however I don't if it want to tear my arms off.
9. Strongly disagree. Why? Because there shouldn't be garbage on the streets at all. People need to be responsible and clean up their own trash. We shouldn't need workers to pick up garbage at all. People are so damn lazy.
10. Strongly agree.
11. Always.
12. Humans - unless we all change very rapidly (and thanks for posting this question, by the way... it helps with the change) - will eventually destroy all the Earth has left. We've already taken so much away from it with our selfishness. It's just a matter of time. Either that or the Earth will wipe us out, and heal itself.

Thanks. Good luck.
