Entertainment & Music - 28 October 2007

My girlfriend really wants me to sing for her but I am not really confident in my voice and I don't think I can sing well, but she insists that I should sing for her. Is there anything I could do to work on my voice. Preferably by myself. I was thinking of singing her Shimmer by Fuel because it is easy and the pitch range on it is concurrent with mine.

ok i was outside playing fire even though im not suppose to ok i get it ok n dont worry i have water hose and fire extinguisher near me.... ok i have this glass bottle that is section off in the middle and i top part it have a marble (its a design to the bottle) its a asian drink like a soda......ok here it is i stuck a paper towel in it to get the marble out and i pour some alcohal (the one that comes in a white bottle) anyways i pour it into the bottle and some went to the bottom and i light it and the paper towel flew out of the bottle like a cannon ball and hit my head and burnt some of my hair and the paper towel that is still on fire flew to my mom flowers and not to worry i put out the fire just in time so yeah and no the marble is still in the bottle ...after i cleaned up everything i went to the restroom and looked up at the mirror my was burnt and i was like OMG so i have to cut off the burnt hair

i told my gf about it and she think its very funny n never stopped laughing

I'm stressing the word "you". I want your own personal opinion according to your own personal interests, not the usual generic answers like a restaurant, movies, club. Like name very specific places near you that you would like to be taken to. Creative and interesting places or activities. Don't worry if the guy will like it or not. Thanks for your answers. sometimes i feel childish for asking for things with no onion, or not eating at restaurants because they refuse to let me have it my way, but try as I might i just cannot STAND onions.
I use them in soups, stews and chilis...but crunching into an onion, makes my gag reflex kick in...

does anyone else feel this way?

i remember watchin this movie about this boy who runs away or something and meets aliens and only he can see them or w/e and then like 10 years later he goes back home but he still looks the same and everybody grew up and that's all i really remember lol but and theres this one part and he's in a mental hospital getting these tests done and stuff like that then i think he escapes...doesanybody know wut im talking about??
lol i sound sorta crazy but iv been like wondering this since i was like5...and im 13 now so...lol

Was just the band playing live. with their record studio version dubbed over. They showed the artist playing instruments and show their fans screaming and going crazy. Those where classic in my opinion.

for worse or better?
I'm very concerned because I've been working PT in a restaurant and it seems it's been gradually getting slower, and slower, slower and even more S L O W E R for the past couple of yrs. now if not longer.
Plus another professional that I know in a totally different field commented they thought "it was really bad out there right now".
However then sometimes you read articles that the economy is doing great!
It is not great in my eyes.
But anyway what's YOUR opinion??
I'm worried ..... !!

There was three blondes at the University of Texas. The Dean gave them the job of measuring the height of the new flagpole. So they put the flag pole in the base and are then on ladders trying to measure the flagpole. Finally an architect walks by and sees they are having trouble so he takes the pole out of the ground and lays it down and pulls out his tape measure and measures the pole. He writes the measurement on a piece of paper and walks away. The blondes look at each other and say "Just like those damn architects give us length when we wanted height.

A young blonde was on vacation in the depths of Louisiana. She wanted a pair of genuine alligator shoes in the worst way, but was very reluctant to pay the high prices the local vendors were asking.

After becoming very frustrated with the "no haggle" attitude of one of the shopkeepers, the blonde shouted, "Maybe I'll just go out and catch my own alligator so I can get a pair of shoes at a reasonable price!" The shopkeeper said, "By all means, be my guest. Maybe you'll luck out and catch yourself a big one!" Determined, the blonde turned and headed for the swamps, set on catching herself an alligator.

Later in the day, the shopkeeper is driving home, when he spots the young woman standing waist deep in the water, shotgun in hand. Just then, he sees a huge 9 foot alligator swimming quickly toward her. She takes aim, kills the creature and with a great deal of effort hauls it on to the swamp bank. Lying nearby were several more of the dead creatures. The shopkeeper watches in amazement. Just then the blonde flips the alligator on its back, and frustrated, shouts out, "Damn it, this one isn't wearing any shoes either!"
