Cinnamon Grrrl♀™ : Exactly that feeling!
I've never seen the video, I never wanted to ruin the feeling, and I love Van but his songs are more of a cool breeze and sunshine for me...

Since I am an Old School Metal and Proghead this should certainly shock You. And You have no idea how tough it is to admit but.
Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer
That song is so Georgeously Beatiful there should be a law.
And I am listening to a real "happy rainbow" song right now from an unexpected source...
"Fluff" by Black Sabbath, it's almost pretty enough to make a Man tear up I'll tell Ya.
*Starred* Sarah, for making a tough guy crack His shell.

Haha, so you mean songs that make us feel like we're floating in the marshmallow clouds with winged kittens... /without/ having taken acid?

The "Do You Realise" video upsets me..I don't know why.

Anyway, many of Van Morrison's songs have that effect on me. His voice just has that lovely tone to it, it takes me to this whole other world..[yes, a world with flying kittens and clouds made out of marshmallows, hehe]

sarah c - Mm, i know what you mean. But i'm not exactly Ms Sunshine, most overtly happy music makes me nauseous.
So when someone like Van comes along, it's impossible to draw a line between lovely breeze on a summers morn' and the world which i so... weirdly described previously.

"Sunshine On My Shoulders" by John Denver
"My Favourite Things" by Julie Andrews (shudder)
"Shiny Happy People" by REM

Come Together In The Morning and Easy On My Soul, both by Free, achieve that affect for me. Paul Rodgers vocals on both of those songs is amazing, and the whole tone is just...magical for lack of a better word coming to my brain at the moment.

Do You Realize? is awesome. I don't see how a song about the fact that everyone dies reminds you of fluffy bunnies, but who cares. It is very awesome. :)

Several songs by the Beatles, like Strawberry Fields Forever and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.

Many Flamings Lips are good for this, their dream rock stuff

ill go with the song Follow the Day and reach for the sun by the Polyphonic Spree. (dont know if that is the actual title)

About anything by the Beatles makes me smile. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is probably my most fluffy bunny type one.

Oh, and anything by Tiny Tim.
