i remember watchin this movie about this boy who runs away or something and meets aliens and only he can see them or w/e and then like 10 years later he goes back home but he still looks the same and everybody grew up and that's all i really remember lol but and theres this one part and he's in a mental hospital getting these tests done and stuff like that then i think he escapes...doesanybody know wut im talking about??

It is Flight of the Navigator (I own the movie).. and since someone already said otherwise there ARE aliens in it. The ship is in and of itself an alien.. and on the ship is a collection of other aliens.. including one cute little monkey/rat looking thing that is absolutely adorable.

it sounds like flight of the navigator, however, there wernt really any aliens...but if that's the movie, it's one of my all time favorite 80's movie! :)
