Some lady had her little pre-school aged child at the reaping last night and at one of the scariest parts he started crying and she very loudly announced that they shouldn't allow stuff like that in movies anyway.

My ritual for each sacred Sunday evening is to make sure the television is on HBO, that the ringer on the phone is off, that I have a large beverage and a big bowl of pasta - that way I don't have to get up for refills during the show. I usually have ziti for Sunday dinner with "the family". Do I have your blessings, or should I be eating manicotti and gabagool and mortadella sangwiches? (no naughty answers please, don't mess with the family)

Yahoo will automatically make the first letter uppercase

What do you think is going to happen this season? I love that show so much, that, where I live, they air the Tuesday episode twice in a row, and I watch both just to make sure I didn't miss anything the first time : )

A Greek and an Italian were sittng in a cafe discussing who had the superior culture.
The Greek said, "Well, we have the Parthenon".
Arching his eyebrows, the Italian replied, 'We have the Coliseum".
The Greek retorted, "We Greeks gave birth to advanced mathematics".
Nodding agreement, the Italian answered, "But we built the Roman Empire".
This went on and on until the Greek came up with what he thought would end the discussion.......with a flourish of finality he said........"We invented Sex"!
The Italian replied, "That is true, but........it was Italians who introduced it to women"!

Ok so I need to break a couple up. I know it sounds mean but this is what happened and please look at it like this:
OK so I was dating this guy Zach and you know everything was fine. After dating like 3 months, I broke up with him. A couple reasons: He asked a girl to date him while I wasn't there (we have these movie night things at school and you watch a movie in the gym at like 7) and 2 my friend told me to becuz she saw it happen. So I broke up with him and he asked me why and I said becuz I just didn't want a boyfriend anymore. So things are fine but then my friend alicia, the one who told me to break up with him is dating him!! she tottally backstabed me and even though I don't care who Zach dates I didn't want it to happen like 3 days after we broke up! So she told me to break up with him becuz she wanted to date him. I know it sounds mean but I just want to get her back by making them break up! Please help me becuz I still have a little bit of feelings for the guy. Help

okay well ystrday was 1 year anniversary for my bf and i. well everything went fine we went out to eat and all that stuff but later when we were on the phone we got into a huge argument and well he told me that i dont show him that i love him, and he didnt just say that bc he was mad, he really was serious, so i really want to show him that hes my everything but i dont know how to do it.

I thought that Finding Nemo was the better film based on

Characters: Finding Nemo had a more memorable set of characters and I don't think anyone in Lion King gave a performance to match Ellen's Dorie.

Imagination: I thought that everything that was done with the fish from the fish doing impressions to the seagulls all sayng "Mine" which to this day I think of everytime I hear seagulls (tell me you don't).

Visuals: Ofcourse Lion King wasn't didn't use CG animation, but the way the visuals were concieved I thought was superior. Alladin could compete, but not The Lion King in my opinion.

Story: The Lion King edges out Finding Nemo in this category because there probably weren't a whole lot of people moved to tears by Finding Nemo, but it was much funnier and again, I think it was full of more memorable characters.

to quit smoking, any suggestions? (granted this is a forced quitting cuz I dont have the money, but I think its time to quit anyways, I am tired of being a slave to this addiction.) I mean I was able to combat an addiction to drugs (sober since 2/95) Surely this cant be as hard right?

Do you think that people who rant and rave on ANSWERS do so because of the anonymity? I often think that they must be really quiet and scared people who are too afraid to spout off face to face, so they do it here where they cannot get into trouble. They lack the guts to stand up to the world in reality, so they use the anonymity of the internet to sit in their safe and cozy little homes and vent their frustrations. I guess it gives them some type of satisfaction to bully in cyberspace since they lack courage in real life. Sad, isn't it?
