Do you think that people who rant and rave on ANSWERS do so because of the anonymity? I often think that they must be really quiet and scared people who are too afraid to spout off face to face, so they do it here where they cannot get into trouble. They lack the guts to stand up to the world in reality, so they use the anonymity of the internet to sit in their safe and cozy little homes and vent their frustrations. I guess it gives them some type of satisfaction to bully in cyberspace since they lack courage in real life. Sad, isn't it?

What's so sad about it? People who don't rant and rave in public are not gutless, they're just being cautious. You could get in prison, or get beaten up for saying some things. P&S is a way to release those frustrations in a remotely legal manner.

No, not sad, just the reality for some who don't do well in social situations for one reason or another (weak reasons at that). Often times those that are bullies in public do so because they have problems socializing also. I do not take pity on any of them as life will teach them if they will listen.

I don't know about everybody else, but I am a tell it like it is kind of person. That comes with age. I am not going to let somebody walk all over me. But you know as well as I do, the haters on here do that beacuse we are in cyber la-la, and nobody can see them. Peace!

I try and avoid confrontation in reality but there are times when I blow up at people. I can only be pushed around for so long and then I get pissed off.

I think some who do it, do so to be honestly helpful. Others do it as an effort to strike back at stupidity. I think most who are expressive in here are also expressive in public or anywhere else.

really sad...and I hope that is true, because if they rant and rave in anonymity, imagine what they are like to be around?

Someone has hurt your feelings, haven't they? I think you are right on the nose about cyberbullies. People generally feel safe when they can hide behind a computer monitor.
