Hollywood is a district of Los Angeles, California. Many movie studios call it home. In the early 1900's it became the movie capital of the world due to the number of studios moving to the area and filming movies there. Although many people would dispute that title now, it is still considered to be the movie capital of the US.

Bollywood is a play on the word Bombay and Hollywood. Mumbai (originally called Bombay) is considered to be the Hindustani language movie capital.
