to be honest, i think the first love leaves an impression that no one can replace. but your true love shines so bright that it is like comparing the sun to a light bulb.

Yes I do. I also still love number 3 and 4 and 6. There are plenty I thought I loved that I would not look up to wave at. The ones I truly loved, I still do.

Not anymore, but it was true love. We were together for 7 years (from age 17 to 24). I carried a torch for him for a long time after we finally broke up for good. My memories of him are bitter-sweet. He could be really mean and hurtful, at times. Now I have the most wonderful husband in the world. I am thankful for the lessons I learned while with my first love because experiencing the bad helps you to recognize and value the good. What a cool question....thanks.

I still love my first love how I remember her. She's not the same person anymore, so I don't love her anymore like I did. But the memory of her, I still love, and yes, it was true.

I can't say love because I'm sure he has changed, as well as I have over the years. I do recall him with a fondness. As much as I was capable of loving at 18 years old, yes , I believe I loved him.

when I think of my first love, I think of that Whitney Houston song "I will always love you". The line best describes on how I feel "I wish you joy and happiness but above all this I wish you love" is soooo true. It was just not meant to be. Gotta move on.
Do I believe in love? I see it around me but not sure if it's in the cards for me.

I most certainly do...the first love I ever felt was for my mother and father ;-)
I'm guessing you meant 'first love' in a romantic way? If so, then YES! I wake up in his arms every morning!

No I don't still love him and I think it was as much love as you can have at that age. Doesn't compare to now though.
